HASCO Board of Commissioners Open Resident Position

The Housing Authority of Snohomish County is overseen by a Board of Commissioners.  The Board is responsible for setting the mission of HASCO and providing oversight of agency activities.

The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) requires that one of the Board members be a program participant in a HUD funded housing program.

HASCO currently has an opening for the Resident Board of Commissioners position.  The Board member’s responsibilities will include attending a monthly noon time meeting and occasional committee meetings, trainings and conferences.  This is a volunteer position.  There is no compensation for participating on the Board of Commissioners.

Participants interested in the position will need to complete an application packet and interview.  The final decision is made by the County Executive and confirmed by the County Council.  If you are interested in the position or would like more information, please contact either Jenisa Story at 425-293-0534 or Cathy Schindler at 425-293-0518.

Requests for application packets must be made no later than March 30, 2015.
