HASCO has funds available to assist homeowners with energy improvements and home repairs

Now that cold weather is here, is your home drafty?  Would you like a lower heating bill?  HASCO may be able to help!

HASCO received over $149,000 in federal funding from Snohomish County to provide energy improvement loans to modest-income homeowners in Snohomish County, outside the city limits of Everett and Bothell.  Loan terms are 0-3% interest, with deferred payment loans available for qualifying senior and disabled homeowners.

Qualifying work includes weatherization, installation of a more efficient heating system, and new windows.  The funding also covers work such as worn or leaking roofs, failing siding, and water damage. HASCO’s program staff works with the homeowner throughout the entire loan and construction process.

To be eligible, homes must be owner-occupied and located in Snohomish County, outside the city limits of Everett and Bothell.  Unfortunately, our program cannot assist mobile home owners in parks.  Click here for maximum income guidelines and more information.
