Snohomish County is in the process of gathering information on residents’ experiences finding housing and experiencing housing discrimination. This is part of a study called an Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing Choice (AI) that is required by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.  Snohomish County is inviting residents to take an online survey about your experiences. 

The Federal Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) requires that all housing authorities receiving federal housing assistance develop a "Public Housing Agency Plan." 

HUD Northwest hosts Fair Housing Basics Webinar, November 17th

The Housing Consortium of Everett and Snohomish County is looking for landlords to participate in a focus group to share ideas about what incentives are needed to encourage renting to individuals with barriers such as criminal records, poor credit and evictions.

Today, the Housing Authority of Snohomish County received 25 more housing vouchers to serve homeless veterans through the Veterans Assistance Supportive Housing Program.  U.S. Senator Patty Murray announced this funding award in her press release below.
