2007 HASCO Board of Commissioners

The Board of Commissioners of the Housing Authority of Snohomish County is made up of six citizens, one of whom is a program participant, each appointed by the County Executive and approved by the County Council. Commissioners serve five year staggered terms. In 1998, Leo Gese’s final term expired. The County and Housing Authority Board honored him with a non-voting Emeritus status.

The Board of Commissioners meets monthly, generally at noon on the third Tuesday of the month. To read the agenda and minutes by date, click here.

Commissioner Chauncey Boyle, Everett

Manager of Providence Peter Claver House, Low Income Senior Property, in New Holly Development in Seattle, active Board member for Providence General Foundation. Appointed to the Board of Commissioners in 1998.

Chair, Commissioner Larry Goulet, Everett

Manager with Rubatino Refuse Removal. Former high school teacher, Dean of Students and Director of Campus Ministry. Active member and past President of Everett Port Gardner Rotary. Appointed to the Housing Authority Board in 2005.

Commissioner Elizabeth Erickson, Mukilteo

Owner of Real Estate Brokerage Company, Gallery Homes, in Mukilteo. Instructor at North Seattle Community College teaching real estate business practices. Served 11 years on Mukilteo YMCA Board of Directors and active in several local community events. Appointed to the Board in 2007.

Commissioner Philip G. Lewis, III, Stanwood

Deacon, St Aidan’s Episcopal Church. Consultant in management systems, productivity, and organization development. Past President of Stanwood Chamber of Commerce and Vice President of Freedom Park Association. Appointed to the Housing Authority Board in 2002.

Commissioner Myles Wagoner, Mill Creek

Retired Air Traffic Controller. Volunteers with the Mill Creek Police Department and Providence Hospital Colby Campus. Has served on the Housing Authority’s Resident Advisory Board. Appointed to the Board in 2007.

Vice Chair, Commissioner Kyoko Wright, Mountlake Terrace

Real Estate Agent with Coldwell Banker Bain. Serves on the Mountlake Terrace Planning Commission, Past President of Snohomish County Camano Association of Realtors. Ms. Wright was appointed to the Board in 2006.

Commissioner Emeritus Leo Gese, Lynnwood

Retired attorney, one of the founders of the Housing Authority and a Commissioner since 1971, a member of the National Association of Housing & Redevelopment Official's International Committee and recipient of NAHRO's John D. Lange International award for his contribution toward international understand and exchange of experience. Appointed Emeritus status in 1998.
